FIELD OF RESEARCH

  • ecology of meiofauna
  • impact of different stressors on harpacticoid copepod community, namely the organic pollution (fish farming) and hypoxia/anoxia
  • experiments in situ and in vitro,  and with 13C isotopes to study the benthic food webs
  • large scale harpacticoid copepod diversity and biogeography
  • diet of economically important fish of Slovenian coastal waters (North Adriatic)
  • microplastic pollution of coastal sediments
