I am an evolutionary biologist with a broad range of scientific interests. I obtained my MSc in primate evolution and completed my PhD in the biogeography and population genetics of golden orbweaver spiders.

Our research group investigates how evolutionary lineages originate, diversify, and persist across space and time by integrating genomic, morphological, ecological, and biogeographic data. Using a broad range of statistical, computational, and bioinformatic approaches, our work addresses questions related to historical biogeography, trait evolution, population structure, species delimitation, and the dynamics of evolutionary diversification. We complement computational analyses by fieldwork expeditions and generation of genetic datasets, primarily for non-model organisms.
