Short biography:
Mihael Bricelj was born in Ljubljana in 1946. After primary and secondary school, he went to study at the Biological Department of Biotechnical Faculty of University of Ljubljana, where he finished studies for MS and PHD. First he joined the group for molecular biology at the Biological Department of Biotechnical University and after 1980 the Department for Toxinology and Toxicology at the National Institute for Biology at Ljubljana. He is currently a senior scientific researcher in the field of ecological toxicology and toxinology and a specialist for tracing of underground waters with phages and fluorescent dies.

Post graduate training course on groundwater tracing techniques, the Institute of Water Resources Management Hydrogeology and Geophysics, Graz

- Member of the ATH (Association for Tracers in Hydrology)
