Short biography:

Having more than 25 years of experience in application of mathematics and statistics in biology, I have the pleasure to work as statistical consultant in diverse fields of biological research. My main interest is computational statistics and data visualisation. Currently I am developing statistical methods for analysis of neurobiological data. As lecturer of statistics and computer sciences at the Department of Biology, University of Ljubljana, I am developing computer aided graphical and statistical simulation systems for statistics education.

Current Projects:

Detecting neuron’s activity changes (project MŠZŠ, J1-3366)Z več kot 25 letnimi izkušnjami pri uporabi matematike in statistike v biologiji sodelujem kot svetovalec na različnih področjih biološkega raziskovanja. Pri tem me predvsem zanima učinkovita vizualizacija podatkov in računalniška statistika. Razvijam metode za analizo podatkov v nevrobiologiji. Že vrsto let predavam Statistiko in Računalništvo na Oddelku za biologijo Ljubljanske univerze in se zanimam za pouk statistike s pomočjo računalniških simulacij in grafike.
