Dr. Anže Županič is a senior researcher at the National Institute of Biology (NIB), Slovenia, specializing in systems biology and bioinformatics. His research focuses on understanding the complex interactions between biological systems and their environments, particularly in the context of responses of plants and quatic organisms to abiotic and biotic stress. Dr. Županič is currenty the co-chair of the ELIXIR Systems Biology Community and the lead of several national and international reesarch projects.
