I investigate pollinator activity in orchards and on green roofs, transferring the knowledge into practice and thus contributing to the protection of pollinators' habitat.

Main research activities and interests:

• Diversity, ecology, monitoring and protection of pollinators (bumblebees, solitary bees)
• Management of pollinators in agriculture
• Green infrastructure and pollinators in cities
• Effects of pesticides on pollinators
• Agriculture and biodiveristy
• Asian hornet (Vespa velutina) and Oriental hornet (V. orientalis)
• Popularisation of science
