CONFERENCE PROGRAM

The Conference will take place in Podčetrtek in Hotel Sotelia, Terme Olimia from Tuesday, 1 March, beginning at 9 a.m., until Wednesday, 2 March 2011 in the afternoon. Scientific and professional contributions will be presented as 30 minutes invited lectures, short 15 minutes papers and posters. The organiser reserves the right to change the proposed way of presentation.

MAIN TOPICS
The program of the Conference will cover all fields of plant protection. Individual presentations will be classified according to adequate thematic groups.

Slovenian and English

ABSTRACTS OF PAPERS
Deadline for abstracts of papers is 8 December 2010. They should be written in Slovenian and English language and consist of 300 words at the most. Abstracts should be sent to e-mail address This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

PUBLICATION OF PAPERS
Reviewed and presented scientific and professional papers will be published in the Proceedings of lectures and papers of the 10th Slovenian Conference on Plant Protection. The complete text of the papers of a volume not exceeding 6 pages, with Slovenian and English abstract shall be submitted by the participants at the Conference or shall be sent to organiser by the 31st March 2011 (detailed instructions for the preparation will be published in the 2rd announcement).

DEADLINES
Registrations with titles of papers will be accepted until 15 November 2010,
Abstracts of papers will be accepted until 8 December 2010,
Papers ready for publication will be submitted at the Conference or until 31 March 2011 at the latest.

REGISTRATION FEE
100,00 EUR (VAT incl.) - full registration fee
(includes 1 issue of Proceedings, banquet, coffee break meals and drinks for two days)
75,00 EUR (VAT incl.) - daily registration fee
(includes 1 issue of Proceedings, coffee break and meals for one day)
Undergraduate students are exempted from payment of registration fee.

SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT
Will be sent in the second half of January 2011 and will contain among other things the following information:
-   Instructions for the preparation of papers for publication in the Proceedings of the Conference,
-   Instructions for the preparation of posters,
-   Conference programme,
-   Additional information concerning hotel reservation and other general information.
