The project is focused on addressing common challenges related to pollinators in the cross-border area of the Mura-Drava-Danube Biosphere Reserve in Croatia and Slovenia, specifically in the lowland part of Prekmurje and the Goričko Nature Park. In recent decades, both Slovenia and Croatia have experienced a significant decline in the number of pollinators, which are crucial for the functioning of terrestrial ecosystems and biodiversity. Wild bees and daytime butterflies have seen the greatest decline.
