SHORT CV
I graduated in Biology from the Biotechnical faculty of University of Ljubljana, where I also continued with my master studies in Structural and functional biology. During my studies I participated in Erasmus exchange programme at the Charles University in Prague, where I gained new knowledge and skills in the field of biology. Marine environment was always fascinating to me, which led me to Marine biological station in Piran, where I worked on my master's thesis with the title: »Trophic ecology of the moon jelly (Aurelia aurita s.l.) and its influence on the microbial loop«. Currently I am enrolled in doctoral studies of Biosciences and I work as a young researcher in the group for biodiversity at the Marine biology station Piran, where I study succession of the benthic communities and their filtration efficiency.
