Work ranged from maintenance of microalgal cultures using different size of flask, optimization of their growth in different conditions (like sulfur and light availability) to the characterization of their photosynthetic efficiency in vivo (using Dual – Pam – 100 device) and of their cellular composition (C, N cell quota; protein cell quota; carbohydrates and lipids semi-quantification by FT-IR methodology, quantification of photosynthetic pigments).
