"International Conference on Marine Data and Information Systems" IMDIS 2021

From April 12-14, 2021, the online conference "International Conference on Marine Data and Information Systems" IMDIS 2021 will be held, with the participation of Marine Biological Station Piran of National Institute of Biology. NIB -MBS is a partner in the SeaDataCloud project, which is one of the organizers of the conference.

The International Conference on Marine Data and Information Systems (IMDIS) aims to provide an overview of existing information systems for the various users in marine science. It also shows the progress made in the development of efficient: infrastructures for managing large and diverse datasets, standards, interoperable information systems, services and tools for education.

The conference will present various systems for online access to data, metadata and products, communication standards and adapted technologies to ensure interoperability of platforms. Sessions will focus on infrastructures, technologies and services for different users: environmental agencies, research, schools, universities and others.
